A concise history of one of the pivotal 20th century figures. To the extent it's possible to condense Winston Churchill into less than 200 pages, Johnson has done an admirable job of painting a picture of the man and the great events with which his life intersected. There is so much more to Churchill, both through his own writing and the chronicling of others, but Paul Jhonson's book does an amazing job of conveying a sense of Churchill and his place in history.
Quite enjoyed it although I thought the denouement was pretty weak. Might read one more.
