Liked the writing, and really enjoyed the story while it was set at Smith, but I felt like things unraveled a bit in the second half of the book. I didn't think such dramatic events were really necessary to underscore the theme of friendship and how it changes over time.
This books was fundamental to helping me through the end of my marriage...and for that matter has paid it forward as other relationships have ended.
