Another great ND novel.

I enjoyed the Mexican theme and food in this book. Siesta time! Another great story of the Flab five gang.

Tangled is about four different teenagers with their lives told into four different viewpoints. Three reasons why I kept interested while reading the book: (1) writing style -- 4POVs, fast paced and easy read; (2) storyline (with me thinking, will the story revolve around with them being in Paradise?); (3) varying characters. Okay, so I'll start with the characters. Jena - Luscious. With low self-esteem. Thinks she has a life of a loser, compared to her mom's friend's daughter Skye who has an oh-so-perfect life. While in Paradise, she keeps living on Skye's shadow and blabbing about all her insecurities in mind. But I love how Jena was introduced in the story. Like, how she secretly lusts about Dakota and keep saying (oh) (my) (god), she's just hilarious. (hahaha!) Dakota - Real jerkkkk. He needs distraction from the recent death of his girlfriend (which he claims, a shitty relationship), and instantly found the cute Jena but ditched her for the gorgeous Skye. Not to mention how he keeps abusing his brother Owen since they were young, like teasing and bullying him how their mother babies him. Yeah, total real jerk. Skye - Gorgeous, elegant, glamorous, (insert all possible description of a model/actress/TV personality here). Just like mostly other perfect-looking life a person has on the outside, it doesn't seem like it. She tries to fake everything, but that just won't work forever. Owen - Tall geek. He's a shy type, always hiding behind his laptop, and his best friend is his "Loser With A Laptop" blog. He's not the social type, and actually didn't expect that he can come out of his shell, but did it anyway. Well, the book might not turned out to be what I expected it, but I definitely liked it. Though it's kind of plain and simple, I love how the characters are different in every way, but each of them grew in the best possible way. They're simple reminders that no matter who you are or what you are, you can always be someone whom you can always be proud of.
