This is one of those books I had to read my first year in college. We read and discussed a book a week, so we basically had to read the book in a couple days so we'd be ready for the discussion the following week. Not the easiest task when the books are over 1,000 pages long, such as this one. Luckily I've always been a fan of Russian Literature, though this maybe is a little more soap-operish than Dostoyevsky or Pushkin. I kept up with the reading schedule for the first couple weeks, then I had to fake it.
