After reading and loving the Red Tent, I was very disappointed with this book. I did not find the characters sympathetic. I was expecting the book to be more historical finction rather than set in the past.
I liked that this was a continuation of "Jim the Boy." I liked this even better maybe because I felt I knew Jim so well.
A great little book - so perfectly relevant.
