Just an easy read where no violence, a little tension, people say what they are thinking and all works out in the end. Since I was sick at the time, I didn't have to work hard to pass the time reading this simple story.
Ok, so this is a re-re-re-reading of this book. Still pretty great. What happens to people who die in plane crashes? Why, they get kidnapped by time travelers from the future, of course. In 50,000 A.D. everybody is dying, and even their genes are wrecked by millennia of biological warfare. So they dress up as stewardesses (or "flight attendants" if it's after 1990) and...I don't want to spoil it for you. Way back in the 80s it was made into a really really bad movie. Don't judge a book by its movie.
