It was ok. I love the end when the kid finally fell asleep. Lol.
Pretty good read although I thought it was a bit "long" in spots - I'm not sure if that's because I was impatient for more action in the story (although I could have done without the cruel punishments given by the Emperor) or if I just wanted to rush her style of writing. I did make frequent use of the glossary. And I did enjoy learning more about the palatial lifestyle in India during that time, particuarily the womens' life.
