Doyle's descriptions of music are ecstatic and infectious. I may have to see the movie at some point to see if it stands up to my imagination of it.
This is a terrific story and heart wrenching at some points. It gives a great insider view of the atrocities that took place in Sudan during the nineties and helps me understand what Darfur is like today. It is moving and motivating. Maybe Egger's best book yet.
