What's great about Dr. Seuss is that his books for children have important messages most adults need to hear. I love how he tries to teach children about important issues, like being kind to the environment in this book, through simple stories, much the same way fairy tales do. The use of color in the illustrations of this book is excellent. You can really see a huge difference as time passes.
