When i first read about how young the Author was, and who's son he was I was not sure I was going to read it. I loved every word, and was hooked from the start. Characters are all very different. This book was written before the past couple of Hurricane seasons in the south, so what happens in the end sort of fore-tells of the future. He really is a gifted writer, and I hope to see something new soon.
Ok, I finally read the series, and I liked it, it was good. It didn't blow me away, but if you like YA and vampires and have lots of time on your hands, then go for it. The book was fun, but if you look a little deeper there were lots of holes, I can over look them, but that is why it doesn't get higher than a 3 star. I really liked the last book the best but the series as a whole is only a 3 for me. It was good for me but not great. But I liked it enough to commit to the Bloodlines series.
