This book is about a 13 year old named Steven who has a totally normal life: he plays drums in the All-Star Jazz band, has a crush on the hottest girl in the school, and is constantly annoyed by his five-year-old brother, Jeffrey. But when Jeffrey is diagnosed with leukemia, Steven's world is turned upside down. He is forced to deal with his brother's illness and his parent's orders to keep the family in one piece. I can connect to this book with a text to self connection because I know how it feels like to be annoyed by one of your family members.Even though I'm the youngest in my family, but I find my brother pretty annoying sometimes treating me like a nanny and telling me to get a water bottle for him like every hour. I rate this book 5 stars, because I find this book pretty interesting and it was salted with humor and peppered with devastating realities.i recommend this book to people who like the genre family, and humor.
