** spoiler alert ** God, this was awful, too much unrealistic, all the characters were sluts trying to appear deep, and more improtantly, it stars at one couple, ends up as two, the supposedly mc endup both of them with other guys.
I've been meaning to read this for a while. It took the movie coming out, to get me interested enough to read it. I saw the movie first. I loved both, but the ending in the book seemed to drag a little. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the series. I haven't decided whether I'm Team Gale or Peeta. Katniss seems confused as well. The book portrayed this aspect of the story better than the movie.
My favorite Lamb novel. This book takes you through so much in the tale of adult twin brother. One brother schizophrenic, and in the one of the best openings in novel history, he cuts off his left hand in protest of the first war in Iraq. I will warn that the book is over 1,000 pages, but it is so much more than worth it. The characters will feel like family by the time you are half way through. Lamb does an excellent job of getting readers to connect with characters.
Chick lit for the thinking woman! Amusing, witty and a perceptive view of the world from the POV of an obsessive-compulsive.
