Really good, but I think it is held back a little by being too clever and too tied to its concept. Don Rosa does an amazing job creating a narrative thread that incorporates the many hints that Carl Barks dropped about Scrooge's life. As with other Rosa stuff I've read (although admittedly it was a while ago) the mixture of adventure, humor, and art are top notch. That said I think the individual stories (I read the issues not the collected version) feel a little rushed, as if the time spent connecting Bark's dots and is comes at the expense of his own story telling. It's a quibble but it's there. Anyone else I wouldn't criticize. Then again if it the series were done by someone else I wouldn't have trusted them to pull it off at all.
