only twice can i think of times that i liked the movie better than the book. oddly enough, both stories came from this book. rita hayworth and the shawshank redemption and the body (stand by me). both fabulous movies, 'eh' short stories.
** spoiler alert ** Very good historical fiction about a poor orange seller who becomes an actress and wins the heart of a king. Reminds me of Philippa Gregory. Will have to see if she wrote other books,
