Finally got around to rereading this after my first crack at it a few years ago and man, do I love it even more. Such a dense novel that reads fastfastfast. And I'd forgotten how strange an effect the episolary style has in describing detail and events without any real sense of security in the narrator. Suspenseful, engaging, and horrifying. Nothing has come close to it since. Much as I enjoyed Coppola's filmed take on it, I gotta point out that Stoker did better without any contrived love story.
This book is good. It's not what I would call literature, but its an honest autobiographical text, valuable if you're reading it for that certain insight into the mentality of Trump and how that mentality lends to his financial successes.
