As Violet, Klaus, and Sunny escape from the trunk of Count Olaf's car. They find themselves at a carnival, so they disguise them as freaks and go into the house of freaks at Madame Lulus carnival. As they get teased and laughed at by the carnival guests. While they are there they discover secrets about them. I really liked this book i like the excitement of whats going to happen next. Lemony Snicket is a really good author and i enjoy reading his books. One thing that I didn't really like is the ending, but other than that is was a good book.
