To describe ZMM as not an easy read is an excercise in redundancy. The theories put forth in this book question all of what we are taught to believe, and how we are taught to learn. In posing the question, what do we mean by the term Quality? (and further, how do we recognize it) Pirsig examines the duality of existence and asks the reader if life is not made up of more than just two sides. To think and question our existence is natural, but at what point does an obsession with these ideas become detrimental to our lives?
I have heard a lot about this book and have wanted to read it since high school, yet I have never actually seen a copy. While both holocaust stories and graphic novels are interest of mine, this makes me increasingly more interested.
