This book is incredible. If you have visited, or are planning to visit any part of Catalunia, specifically Barcelona, this gives you an insider/outsider perspective of the history of this incredible area, the cultural aspects and how they are applied, celebrated and glorified in modern day Barcelona Culture.
This book is an expose by a woman (who was not a sorority girl herself) who attended a "southern university" and went undercover to tell the story of several girls in different "unnamed" sororities. Some of the stories in this book were similar to my own, however many of the stories were shocking. Not in so much as what happened to these girls (although some of it was terrible), but that they never stood up to their sisters, or stood up for them selves. If some of these situations had happened to me, I would have left; most of these situations never happened to anyone I knew. I spent most of the time, wondering what university and sororities the author was talking about.
