Life is like a box of chocolate
I couldn't deal with this book. Nope.
The theme I've seen with reviews of Confederacy is everyone either loved it and recommended it to all, or hated it with the fire of a thousand suns. I loved it. I found it to be an easy read, and a captivating page turner with vivid, unique, and (often) detestable characters. Ignatius lumbers angrily and offended through the lives of all around him, creating great storms of turbulance. In the end, they are all better off from his tumultuous manipulations, though he would be horrified if he found out. Though Ignatius may be Sloth Incarnate, I was left desperately wanting to find out what he would do next.
I love this book. While at times it seemed like it dragged it's still good.
