This book was excellent! The references to the clothing, toys, and songs of the Seventies brought back so many memories of my younger years. The friendship between Tully and Kate was so real - again, bringing back memories from my life. The final chapters had me crying, yes...actually crying! The story was so real and closely woven with my experiences with my best friend and watching her die before the age of 50 from cancer. Also, I thank the author, Kristin Hannah, for educating women about a type of breast cancer that I must admit I had never heard of. This was my first experience with a book by this author; now I will need to read more of her works.
