Good book, but I only gave it a three because how sad it is. And to remind myself why I might not pick this one up unless I want a good cry. Not saying why. Kate Shugak hires out to work a hunting camp end of September beginning of October. The camp is rustic and the German businessmen and women have been warned. The guides are all native Alaskans and there is one guide per two hunters. The killings begin with what seems like an accidental shooting, which is what will happen when so many inexperienced hunters are on the lose. But it's Kate to the rescue.
