This was John Grisham's first non-fiction book. He did a good job. It was an eye opening book. Sad though, learning the truth of how our justice system sometimes works.

This book is Stephen King's analysis of why we love horror fiction. He looks at radio, film, and literature from the 1950's to the '80s. It's entertaining as well as informative but if you're not an absolute Stephen King nut like I am, you might want to skip this one.

I enjoyed reading the book, but there were parts where I was very frustrated with the author as well as the situation in Afghanistan. Maybe I was reading the through the eyes of a single woman in the United States who has lots of rights and freedoms. As our country is faced with many social, political and economic issues, I still think it is the greatest place to live.
