I thought I would hate reading King Lear. I remember hating Shakespeare in high school - I couldn't understand a single thing! It is so much different to read King Lear as an adult and use a book with a side-by-side modern English translation. I really enjoyed the story - I even laughed at the jokes! I'm not sure I'm a Shakespeare addict but I'm so glad I could enjoy such a revered author.
Love this author, probably not his best book but well worth the time and money. Anything by Harlan Coben is well worth it.
Slightly better than the first book in terms of plot, but suffers from the same problems (and has the same strengths). M. Chandler writes like a fanfic writer - assuming everyone else knows the characters exactly like she does, and sees everything with her eyes. And the banter, although adorable, just doesn't say "FBI agents" to me. Still, YAY for M/M adventure.
