I enjoyed this book despite the huge amount of foreshadowing and teasing little lines he felt he had to put in often (usually at the end of a chapter, of course) to keep you reading. The characters were likable and I actually thought it could have been longer and more detailed because the people and setting were just that interesting. He hopped around time periods pretty fast and loose; kept me on my toes.
Very quick and funny tale about an "Adam's family". Reminded me of Philip Ardagh's writing style and his ideas a lot without feeling like a copy, it's just the same kind of macabre, dark humour I completely love. Unique, creative, morbid - still the family is extremely loveable, even though it's a little hard to distinguish them all.
