Risotto is really one of the easiest things to cook, and there are almost no limitations as to what you can add to your risotto. But I also really love Risotto, and always appreciate external inspiration, of which this enjoyable little book contains plenty. (it has other rice recipes as well, but mainly risotto). Remember: ALWAYS use FRESH cheeses! If your idea of parmeggiano comes from a can, don't even bother! (you'll thank me for this later)
Pretty good angry liberaltude ranting. Margaret Cho is God(dess). I think a lot of it is transcribed stand-up routines, so there is some redundancy. And a couple of odd moments, probably due to the ad-lib nature of stand-up. (Insulting Bush by saying he has sleep apnea? Huh?) If you're looking for tightly reasoned arguments, read Chomsky. Otherwise I would call this a Good Read.
