This riveting tale of a young girl attempting to escape a rotten motherless childhood by attempting to search for remains of her mother elsewhere is very well written. The author transition beautifully. Along with her use of imagery to give life to words. If I were to take anything as a writer from this piece of would be, being able to add my own flavor to a story that has been told countless times before.
