I just re-read it. And I have to say that other authors who try to run with the vampire idea shouldn't waste their energy. Just a few quick comments/stupid questions: 1. Once Bella and Edward realize that they're "in love" (and I use quotations hesitantly), their relationship seems to pick up pretty quickly. I can see why it does, I mean, they're throwing themselves into danger, which probably makes Bella and Edward love each other more. 2. Plane rides. What? Bella, Jasper and Alice ride in a car to Pheonix. But then James jumps on a plane? Can't he run twice as fast as a plane? It's not a complaint, it's more of a question I've been asking myself for the past few days since I finished it. Planes? And then Edward and Carlisle jump on a plane. 3. How did Emmett get to Pheonix? Plane or running? 4. The book is way better than the movie, but isn't that always the case? 5. I liked it better the second time.
I totally heart Tina Fey, and this book made me love her even more! Really I'm giving it a 4.5, so maybe I should round up--okay, I just did! Seriously, I couldn't read the book in public because it caused me to laugh the most bizarre laugh that I didn't even know I possessed!
Just bought this last night. I heard about it when it came out in hardcover and it just came out in soft... pretty good so far. Glad he didn't write the whole thing in Scottish accent.
