A great thriller.
** spoiler alert ** This is the first book that I threw away immediately after finishing. It wasn't just that I thought it was a bad book- I wouldn't have finished it if I thought it was just bad. What was so awful about this book is that it was decent writing and large scale structure around a story that's worse than hopeless- the author grants you a modicum of hope only to meaninglessly snatch it away from you and walk you through 50 pages of senseless gore and violence. The book has no heroes, everybody is f*cked. How could you love or even like a book like that?
