This book was OK. I had to skip over some of the descriptions of what he ate. The ending was sort of intriguing, but sort of annoying too.

A heart-wrenching read.

This was a summer reading before my senior year of high school. I remember not enjoying it that much when I read it then, but I gained a lot more respect for it when we went over it in my senior class. I had missed a lot of what was going in the the play when I read it distracted and independently over the summer. We spent a lot of time that year looking at the stereotype in literature of "the crazy woman upstairs" and this piece was part of that.
