A slow start to this book about a precocious high school senior, Blue Van Meer, who moves around with her father as he takes teaching gigs at mediocre colleges. The final twist, though, makes it all worth it when a favorite teacher dies on a camping trip and Blue discovers that nothing is as it seems, that all the adults in her life may be involved in a secret revolutionary society.
This was never one of my favourite Dahl books, but I think I'll have to read it again to justify that. I have loved all his books and want to read them all again.
