This be all tender and cool and compelling. Very female without being feminine. My favorite book in a long long time.
The book was OK for me. It's not the typical genre of book that I read. The author did a decent job with his plot and story line. It flowed well without bogging down too much, nor passing over needed information to develop the characters. Although I don't read a lot of vampire novels, I found his descriptions of vampire folklore quite different from my past experiences. This isn't to say that it deterred from the tale, but rather that it's just different.
