A good retelling of the tale of the 12 dancing princesses. It was a little rushed at the end but all-in-all an enjoyable read. It created a nice answer to the questions that I wondered as a child; what happened to the 12 princes they danced with each night and why would the soldier want to marry a woman who snuck out to dance each night and refused to tell why her slippers were worn out?
