A must read for graphic novel fans. The writing and art in this series is first rate. Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez make a superb pairing on par with Gaiman/McKean/Jones(Sandman) and Moore/Totleben/Bissette(Swamp Thing). Not since those titles have I seen such a superb mix of human drama, fantasy and horror in the graphic novel/comic genre. I can't wait for the next volume.
4 1/2 stars. I really like the characters in this series.
I had a hard time finishing Middlesex.. while the story was interesting it was really intense and sometimes over the top.
