I liked the first 2 acts a lot at first and then really didn't like the third act. I was a little confused by the shift to hell. But Shaw entertains like none other and I was pretty amused by all of Tanner/Don Juan's rants.
actually much better than the author's 'devil wears prada' as far as this sort of genre goes.
Not a bad Eighth Doctor novel. The Doctor is confronted with an interesting moral dilemma.
Loved the art, the story was really good at times and then really slow and dragging at others which is why the 3 star rating. I wanted to like this more but I just didn't. Kind of a disappointment after the first volume started off so well.
I loved the hero's love for his wife
I really enjoyed this book. I find myself frequently talking to my peers about what to do with out lives and how to make choices. This book was an incredibly thorough and interesting view into how people make choices, how making choices leads to positive or negative feelings about the choice made, and how the volume of choices one exposes them to had potentially negative effects.
