Wow....I don't know where to even begin. I heard about A Rush of Wings right here on goodreads, and decided to pick it up for a reading challenge. I loved the story, dark as it was, it was so refreshing after all the PNR I've been reading for the past month... Dante's story is heartbreaking, yet his resilience and compassion make him one of the best characters I've encountered in a long time. Thank you Adrain Phoenix for your wonderful gift... I can't wait to read the In the Blood next...I may even run out and buy it tomorrow :)
I was pleasantly surprised at how well I liked this retailing of Beauty and the Beast. It was fun to have it modernized. It was a fun quick read and enjoyable! I really fell for the beast too! My heart went out to him when he had to make some tough decisions. This is one of those stories that helps remind you to not judge others lest you be judged or walk a mile in their shoes first. maybe two swear words I wouldn't let my teenage read this,is not a clean romance for that age.
