Kısa ve bağımsız hikayelerin bir koleksiyonudur. Kitap, kimin suçlu olabileceğini ve Tommy ve Tuppence'ın suçu çözme yollarını tahmin etmesi biraz açık ve tahmin edilmesi kolay hikayelerle başlar. Ancak sayfaları çevirdiğinizde ve özellikle sona doğru, beklenmedik bükülmeler ve dönüşlerle kitap daha ilginç hale geliyor.

Bu kitaba yeni başladım ve bir çok insan Jane Austen'ın en iyisi olduğunu söyledi. Gurur ve Önyargı'yı yenmek zor, bu yüzden yüksek beklentilerim var.
My friend who recommended this book called it "the darkest of the dark" and I will whole-heartedly agree. It takes place in a small Wisconsin town shortly after the Civil War in which a diphtheria outbreak occurs. Very graphic and bone chilling at times in sections. Not a feel good book by any means but very well written.
"Song of Myself" is a work of pure genius comparable to Shakespeare's greatest. I love these last three stanzas especially. When my wife and I were dating long distance and when I was deployed, I would end alot of my letters with "I stop somewhere waiting for you." I bequeath myself to the dirt to grow from the grass I love. If you want me again look for me under your bootsoles. You will hardly know who I am or what I mean, But I shall be good health to you nevertheless, And filter and fibre your blood. Failing to fetch me at first keep encouraged, Missing me one place search another, I stop somewhere waiting for you.
A really quick read about a friendship between two women. A great beach read.
I wish I still had this. Even though the Palladium-based system was unbalanced and not playable for long, it was fun to look through and read the stats of the Turtles as well as the mutant abilities of various animals. The illustrations were either culled from the comic book or custom-drawn by Eastman or Laird, so it's a good-looking book as well.
Another awesome Vince Flynn book.
** spoiler alert ** I really liked the story between Rob and Leah, the whole incest thing made me a little skeved out. And the ending...what can I say but that I kind of saw it coming. I would have liked a little more than "bless me father for I have sinned".
