A little bland... ba-dump-bump-bing. It had some interesting ideas for monitoring server status programatically, views for summary tables, and gathering stats/logs with triggers. This book offers insight into Stephen King's early life, though processes, and his near-fatal accident. It also has some excellent tips on writing from one of the most successful writers in the business. Very inspirational!
In some ways as good as any written by Elmore Leonard.
