When no choice is a good one...what do you do? Deep theme for a YA/Middle Grade book. Nya is a "taker" that takes removes pain from people, but by some fluke she can also "shift" that pain to others...a dangerous skill. The writing, plot and characters were strong it made me want to read the next book. It was geared toward a younger audience than I was expecting.
