Lots of interesting back stories regarding the evolution of the science of chemistry and physics of the elements of the Periodic Table, including the politics and personalities of the players involved. An interesting read. Some of the technical stuff is still a bit murky, but on the whole a very good read.
Beautifully hallucinogenic. Movie version doesn't quite take the cake, as usual. Damn Hollywood liberal elite buttholes. Or something.
