It took me four days to read this book and that was only because I had to keep putting it down. It was so heartbreaking yet so inspirational. Cupcake (yes her real name) lost her Mom at the age of 11 and went into the foster system. She was raped, beaten, did every drug under the sun, alcohol, prostitution, was in a gang, married, etc... and made it through all of it to the other side. She went to school and became a lawyer. She is such an inspiration!
