Title in German: Lexikon der Götter und Dämonen A practical reference book with short descriptions of the most important gods and demons of various cultures. In the appendix the gods are listed with their functions and aspects e.g. all earth gods/goddesses and symbols and attributes e.g. apple or trident. Sufficient for quick information to which culture a god belongs but it´s not very detailed.
I continue to plug away at this book. I like it; but it's slow.
AWESOME book. She has 10 Hugo awards and 6 Nebula awards. How did I miss her? She's got the sciency fiction, the alt history stuff, and a healthy smattering of Dorothy Parker slash Agatha Christie. What is not to LOVE about this book? Hilarious, clever, and well written. Robust characters, too. I had a crush on Baine halfway through the book. READ IT. !!!!
