Challenging, and personal.

I have just finished Small-Town Moms, the first part of story by Janet Tronstad, great story Janet. This was a story of a young woman who lost her family and grew up in foster homes, She felt like she had failed by not being able to keep her family together after her parents died. as an adult she found her sisters and after learning one had died and left a daughter, she went to meet her and then met a wonderful young man who had never married and thought life had passed him by. I was so pleased to find a wonderful ending for all three of them....man-woman and child. The second part of book is by Deb Clopton "A Mother for Mule Hollow" this story is tied to the first as one of the sisters will be searching for half brother to little girl in Janet's story. I am anxious to read --"The rest of the story".

I admire this families determination. I admire their resolve to lose focus on "stuff" and more focus on helping others and family closeness. I enjoyed the teenage daughter's perspectives sprinkled throughout the book. With careful documentation of their experience they were able archive an interesting book. Unnecessary foul language which distracted, even though it referenced a certain situation while in Africa--still unneeded.
