Not sure if it is my mood or what, but this book is not what I expected. I think I am going to have to set this one aside for now, and maybe indefinitely.
This book, written in the 20's, was ahead of it's time. I was very impressed!
Maybe this book and series has been hyped so much that I felt a little disappointed. I have been re-assured that the series gets better...which is great since I own books 1-5! Hehehe The ending gave me hope, though! Good ending! I really wanted to read City of Bones before my trip to Toronto next week. That way, if I spot any of the cast members, I could be all kinds of, "Oooo! You're so and so! Your character is awesome!" Oh, and I'm taking the book and a Sharpie with me. Ya know, just in case!
