The story was so fascinating that when I was almost finished reading, I felt this certain reluctance to flip through the last few pages, lengthening my journey with this book. I not only acquired new knowledge about Japan's colorful culture, but was also blown away by Sayuri's beautiful life story that in the end, I felt sorry that Memoirs of a Geisha is nothing more than an exceptionally crafted work of fiction.
