Eğlenceli. Tren paketi köpekleri gibi yapmak istemediğim şeyler hakkında bir parça gözden kayboldum. Posta yoluyla bebek civciv alabileceğinizi bilmek güzel. Kim biliyordu!
Hope is a down-on-her-luck reporter who gets robbed on Christmas Day. A stranger leaves behind a jar of coins in her apartment to help her. Hope wants to get down to the bottom of mystery of these holiday jars. This is a great story, but awful writing. Other than that, this is a read-alike for Nicholas Sparks.
** spoiler alert ** I loved this book. It's about a Russian countess that has to escape to England because of the war. She becomes a servant in a Earl's house and soon falls in love with him. The only problem is that the Earl is getting married that year. A little confusing but an extremely good love story.
I'd actually give the book 2.5 stars. It was a fairly fast read (as most chic-lit is), and there were some great parts of the book, but overall I just felt like the Ellie acted like such a martyr. She really over-reacted to her mother-in-law. Sure there were things that were "frustrating", "annoying" and at one point "horrid", but she carried on like such a spoiled brat. I typically enjoy Jane Green's novels, but this one was a bit too whiney for me.
