muhteşem bir kitap. ilham verici. bir anı değil, kendini keşfetme yolculuğu.
Benjamin Zander'ın TED'de çok ilham verici bir videosu var, bu yüzden kitabı aldım ama henüz okumadım
This is actually the administration parts of the free MySQL 5.x PDF manual -- keep a local copy handy. As for MySQL knowledge, it contains it all; well-written, but quite dense. Especially good for administration (setup, logs, replication, optimization). Available online at mysql.com. [Read cover-to-cover, frequently referenced]
Having just finished all 19 of the currently available Stephanie Plum books I have decided to review the final one, and let this stand for the previous Plum books that I haven't reviewed. Afterall, if Evanovich can get away with writing the same book 19 times I'm sure I can get away with writing one review that can accurately sum up all of them. The Stephanie Plum books are funny and light-hearted entertainment that's ideally suited for holiday reading. The trouble is that all of the books are essentially the same, and written to the same tired old formula. This is very apparent if, like me, you read the whole series in one go. I can imagine if you packed one of these with your suitcase each year that you'd be a lot more entertained since the similarities to previous books wouldn't be so obvious. The crux of the problem is that none of the characters in these books are allowed to grow or develop. No-one learns from their mistakes, or has to face far reaching consequences. Stephanie just blunders from one slapstick scene to the next. I was also beyond irritated that the Ranger-Morelli-Stephanie triangle never at any point moves beyond "Ranger is hot, but dangerous, and not relationship material but oh how I lust after him....Morelli is hot and dangerous, and might want to marry me one day, but certainly is happy to just be strung along by my antics....and here I (Stephanie) sit, unable to decide between them but apparently having an infinite amount of time to make up my mind....." There, I've just summed up 19 books of romance plot and saved you the bother or reading them. These books are fun, but I'd recommend spacing them out to stave off monotony and would warn you not to read them if you're ever hoping to find out who Stephanie picks. I'm sure that Evanovich is having too much fun raking in the cash to ever make the mistake of having a conclusion creep into any of her books.....
