If you love history or have ever wanted to love history this book is filled with some of the most interesting details of a multitude of stories.
This was good escapist fun. It's edging close to the too-silly-for-me line, though. Maybe I'm judging it more harshly than I would have if I hadn't already started the next one, The Well of Lost Plots, which I think has already tipped over that edge.
