Ok, perhaps not as good as his excellent debut, Peace Like a River, but may depend on what you're looking for/expecting. Not a poignant coming of age story, but a more humorous look at what people might do in middle and older age. Still has the elements of road trip, and some romantic musings on the old west. Although only a line, I loved his ironic reference to his earlier book.
