Overall la good coverage of a particular open source programming project headed up by Lotus veteran Mitch Kapor and it's many failures and success in making a personal information manager (PIM) that was supposed to rock and revolutionize the industry. It goes through many choices were made...give a back history and context to the discussions by discussing core software design challenges and theories. overall a very entertaining book written by the co-founder of salon.com
