Max comes up with plans, places and projectile weapons to avoid that I wouldn't have, so now I feel at least a little better about surviving in a zombie apocalypse. One of the problems is, and I get that he is being tongue in cheek here, but I'm just not scared enough yet of the potential for zombies to spend 10 vacations scouting out plans A-F, building forts and purchasing adequate materials. If a zombie apocalypse happens, I'll know more things to do, but I won't be much more prepared. I'm not sure my wife will be cool with me buying a machete, but I do know where a crow bar is. The pictures are funny and so is the dry humor, such as a story about why it's not good to fly if you don't know where the fuel is. My favorite part is the recorded attacks section. These sound convincing, and some are more terrifying than any zombie stories I've read. All in all, this book is a nice coffee table book to flip through between real zombie stories and in order to make sure your friends won't slow you down in case you get called to action. For example, what weapon would you prefer? I'd have to go with a TPX aluminum bat slung over my shoulder, and if I get a second a hand gun with silencer.
